  OFF AIR RECORDING - GUIDELINES FOR FAIR USE  

Interpreted from The Library of Congress U.S.Copyright Office,  "TITLE 17, Section 107.  Subject Matter and Scope of Copyright".

    1.  Materials may be only kept for a total of 45 days after date recorded.

    2.  Programs may only be used in relevant teaching activities in the first 10 consecutive school days
         in the 45-day period.

    3.  After the 10-day usage period, instructors may use the material for evaluation purposes.

    4.  After the conclusion of the 45 days the recordings will be erased unless the instructor has
         provided completed evalution form and has recommended that the media center purchase the
         rights to the recording.
