Program Description: |
South Puget Sound Community College is offering online Cultural Resource Certifications in four areas: (1) Archaeology, (2) Language and Culture, (3) Museum Studies, and (4) Forensic Anthropology. This series of 40 credits, 8 classes, provides Native American and Agency student training in Cultural Resource Management. As Tribal communities take charge of their own cultural protection and preservation programs, there is a need to gain technical training to assist in these four specialty areas of cultural resources management. This online certification program serves as the entry level college training and preparation courses for a focused career as a cultural resources specialist. | |||
